Terms and Conditions 

We look forward to welcoming you! When you make your booking, you are entering into an agreement with The William Peter Mansion: Bed and Breakfast, C.H.I.P.S, and Haunted Journeys, the organization for World’s Largest Ghost Hunt Event. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Car Parking

Parking is available for guests’ use at the side of The William Peter’s Mansion Bed and Breakfast. Cars parked here are at owner’s risk.

Damage and Breakages

Please take care of our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly. We do not normally charge for breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.

Liability

This is our home and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We are not responsible for accidents or injury, damages to personal property or vehicles, or for the loss of money or valuables of any kind.

 

Lost Property

We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. Items left behind can be sent to you via mail at your request. The cost of shipping + a $5 handling and packaging fee (rounded to the next whole dollar) will be billed to your credit card. After 3 months, any unclaimed items will be donated to our local Good Will. Or guests may come retrieve items during reasonable business hours and must call ahead.

 

Payment

Payment is due on the day of arrival and we accept the following charge: credit and debit cards, American Express, Debit MasterCard, and Visa, as well as checks and cash. The exception to this policy is for bookings at peak times and / or special events where we reserve the right to take full payment equivalent to the room(s) rate. You will be informed of this at the time of booking.

 

Pets

Pets are not permitted in The William Peter’s Mansion Bed and Breakfast. Well behaved assistance dogs are welcome.

 

Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted inside of The William Peter’s Mansion Bed and Breakfast. Designated smoking areas are located for guests to use. Please note that offending guests may be asked to leave immediately and may be liable for professional cleaning of any rooms and any outstanding balance of nights booked.

Alcohol

Due to the rules and conditions set by Haunted Journeys, Guests cannot consume any alcohol during the day, before, or during the live-stream investigation on September 28th 2019. Guests found consuming alcohol during the day, before, or during the investigation, will be asked to leave The William Peter Mansion: Bed and Breakfast. No refunds will be given to Guests that violate these terms.

Drugs

Use and possession of any kind of drugs is strictly prohibited in the B&B. Failure to adhere to this rule will automatically result in a police intervention and the Guest(s) will be banned from the property.

Guest(s) Behavior

This is a professional event and each guest is representing not only themselves, but The William Peter Mansion: Bed and Breakfast, C.H.I.P.S, Haunted Journeys, and the town of Columbiaville on a global appearance. We ask each guest to act professional and show respect to each other, investigators, event coordinators, and William Peter Mansion: Bed and Breakfast Staff. If The William Peter Mansion: Bed and Breakfast Staff or investigators of C.H.I.P.S, feel that a guest’s behavior is unacceptable, guest(s) may be asked to leave. No refunds will be given.   

 

Ouija Boards

No Ouija Boards will be allowed to be brought onto The William Peter Mansion: Bed and Breakfast property. If any guests are found with one, we reserve the right to ask you to remove the Ouija Board from the property or leave the property without refund.

 

Termination Policy

The William Peter’s Mansion Bed and Breakfast reserve the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behavior or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others (Please note that noncompliance of our nonsmoking policy constitutes termination). In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, no refunds will be made.
