If you do not agree to the terms, you must call The William Peter Mansion Bed and Breakfast to cancel your reservation.

Reservations

Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.

In order for us to confirm a reservation, credit/debit card details are required to secure your booking. No payment is taken from this card, unless the following: the booking is not canceled seven (7) days, or 24 hours prior in booking with a less than seven (7) day notice, of the scheduled date of arrival, or you do not show, or you use the card to pay on departure.

The exception to this policy is for bookings at peak times and / or special events where we reserve the right to take full payment equivalent to the room(s) rate. You will be informed of this at the time of booking.

It is the Guest’s responsibility to inform the Innkeeper of any special health issues or concerns they have that the Innkeeper would need to be made aware of to ensure the health and safety of the Guests’ stay.

Arrival and Departure

Check in is available from 2 pm to 6 pm on the day of arrival. Check-in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival. We ask guests to call us thirty (30) minutes prior to arrival to ensure a member of The William Peter’s Mansion staff is there to welcome you. During certain cases, when the Mansion has events going on, we may ask you to arrive before or after a certain time to ensure we can properly welcome guests.

We ask that you please vacate your room by 11:30 am on the morning of departure.

Failure to follow the proper check out procedure will lead to a $30 charge per room.

No refunds for early departures.

Rooms

Room rates are based upon double occupancy and full breakfast.  Each additional person in room will be assessed an additional charge. Due to health, safety, and fire regulations, room occupancy limits may not be exceeded. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.  Rates do include applicable state and local taxes.

Cancellation by the Guest

We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential guests in favor of someone who has already booked and who then cancels. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases.

In the event of a cancellation up to 7 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival no charge will be made. If you do not cancel your reservation seven (7) days of the scheduled date of arrival a cancellation charge equivalent to the room(s) single night rate will be made. For stays three (3) nights or longer and/or three (3) or more rooms are reserved, the Guest will be responsible for a fee of two-third (2/3) the total reservation.

Guest failing to arrive, without notification, may be responsible to a charge equivalent to the total reservation price. Reservations that are made in less than seven (7) day arrival will have 24 hours prior to check-in to cancel. If Guest does not cancel 24 hours before a cancellation charge equivalent to the room(s) single night rate will be made.

We take all bookings in good faith, as we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with The William Peter’s Mansion Bed and Breakfast for either accommodation or goods, services, meals or drinks that are pre- booked (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract. For this reason, we advise that you take out a suitable insurance product to cover against unexpected costs such as cancellation fees. In addition, we may take legal action, through the Courts, to recover any outstanding debts.
